Suggest a better descriptionStep 2: Place beef in a crock pot.
Step 3: In a small bowl, combine beef broth,
Step 4: soy sauce,
Step 5: brown sugar,
Step 6: oil,
Step 7: and garlic. Do you know the easy way to peal garlic cloves. Just put one on a flat surface and smash it with the flat side of a chef knife (or something like that). The paper like skin comes right off. Then mince it with the chefs knife.
Step 8: Stir all the ingredients together.
Step 9: Pour it over the beef and stir. Put on the lid and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Step 10: In a cup, stir cornstarch and sauce from the crock pot until smooth. Add to crock pot. Stir well to combine.
Step 11: Add broccoli to the crock pot. Stir to combine. Cover and cook an additional 30 minutes on high (the sauce has to boil for it to thicken).
Step 12: Serve over hot cooked rice, or by its self. OHHHH YUUUMMMMM! So easy and so good. I keep adding more broccoli, can't get enough of that old broccoli. Enjoy!
