1) Sear your roast over high heat, then set in bottom of crockpot.
2) Whisk together the three packets in the water, until well combined.
3) Pour over the roast. Put on the lid.
4) Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until it shreds easily with a fork.
You can also make this in the Instant Pot; however, you need your roast to be a better cut than a chuck roast, because it doesn't have time to make it tender. Cook in the Instant Pot for 35 minutes, and then use the "saute" button to create gravy with the drippings in the Instant Pot.
