Set it and forget it, this simple chicken is sure to please. Great for game-day fun!
Practice whatever pre-chicken mantra you prefer (wash, pat, trim fat, whatever).
Throw chicken in the crockpot with all the ingredients.
Turn on low for 6-8 or high 4-6.
Once chicken is done remove from sauce, shred with forks, and return to sauce for about 15 for flavors to meld.
The only real ingredients needed are the chicken, BBQ sauce, and beer (and even that's debatable, but let's be real here college kids have plenty of that laying around.) Everything else just adds more, and different, flavors. In the fall time try using an Oktoberfest for a surprising mix of spices.
