Suggest a better descriptionMix hot water and onion soup mix in crock pot until soup mix is dissolved. Add roast, cover crock pot and cook on low 8-10 hours, high heat not recommended. Remove roast from crock pot and shred the meat into large pieces. Stir gravy mix into crock pot until dissolved and return roast beef back to crock pot. Heat on high for about 30 -45 minutes. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
