In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage, onion and garlic. Saute until meat is browned and no longer pink.
Put sausage, tomatoes, green beans, chopped onion, and remaining ingredients into crockpot.
Stir and cover; cook on HIGH 4-5 hours or LOW 7-8 hours.
When there are 20 minutes remaining, stir in tortellini and add 1 cup water. Serve when done.
