When I make recipes in 9 by 13 baking dish that are like a pudding dessert this is my go to crust recipe
Combine flour, nuts and butter. Mix well. Press into bottom only of 13x9 in. baking dish.
Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Cool completely.
Fill with favorite filling & top with cool whips and leftover nuts
