Preheat to 325.
Cream Crisco and sugar with mixer. Add salt & egg yolk, blend. Add lime juice and vanilla. Continue beating and add flour gradually until mixture is stiff, but not too dry. Mix well. Roll dough into a cylinder about 2" in diameter. Slice cookies about 1/2' thick and place on greased cookie sheet. Brush with beaten egg white. Bake about 2 min. or until lightly browned.
I only used about 1/2 the flour.
