Suggest a better descriptionSaute oil and onion in the bottom of a pressure cooker. Add water, lentils, coriander, curry, and ginger. Seal the pressure cooker and bring to full pressure. Cook for three minutes with a slow stream of steam. Remove from heat. Let sit for 5 minutes, then release pressure. Add salt to taste.
Beef variation: cook onions as above with beef cubes. Add water, coriander, curry, and ginger. Bring to pressure and cook for 8 minutes. Release pressure. Add lentils. Bring to pressure and cook for three minutes. Release pressure. Salt to taste.
