Suggest a better descriptionIn a large bowl beat eggs with mixer about 3 minutes until frothy. Add sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and melted butter; whip until well blended. Add milk, mixing well, stir in raisins and pecans. Place bread pieces in a well greased No. 8 Dutch Oven. Pour egg-milk mixture over bread pieces, tossing lightly until bread is well coated. Let stand for 15 minutes. Set Dutch Oven over 10 to 12 pieces of charcoal (going well). Add 6 to 8 more on the lid. Cook 45 minutes and then remove charcoal from lid and leave 6 underneath for about 15 more minutes.
For Butter Sauce:
In a small saucepan heat sugar and butter until smooth. Add corn syrup and cream; cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until smooth. Pour over warm bread pudding.
