my dad's recipe
Melt butter in large pan and add onions. Cook until translucent. Add ground beef, 3 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp salt, .5 tsp pepper and tabasco. Break meat with a fork and cook until browned. Transfer all into a large pot. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, worcestshire sauce and 1 tsp chili powder. Simmer covered for 30 minutes. Add beans, sprinkle garlic salt, and 1 more tsp chili powder. May need to taste and adjust. Next day is best for eating.
