My kids love this and they actually call it Dad's Famous Pizza Burger!
Wash and peel potatoes, then cut potatoes in to thick slices for french fries. (Use a julienne cutter if you have one.) Start heating oil to cook fries.
Make 6 hamburger patties using ground sirloin, 1/3 pound each. Use large skillet and start to cooking patties on medium-low heat. Heat tomato sauce in a small pot.
Take melted butter and brush on both sides of hamburger buns. Sprinkle garlic salt & onion powder on buns. Place under broiler for a few minutes to toast them like garlic bread, do not burn them.
By about now , everything should be just about cooked, Place burgers on bottom side of garlic bun, place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of burger. Take the bun tops and place a slice of mozzarella on each of them.
Place some tomato sauce on top of burger and on top of bun. Drain french fries from oil, pat with paper towels, and serve on side of Pizza Burger.
