Just the way my mother made it growing up... we used Swiss cheese, but I now use Mozzarella, any cheese you like works... FINELY shredded.
Cook pasta, keep stewed tomatos hot over low-med heat.
Melt Butter in microwave.
Take large bowl, put 1/3 of cheese on bottom
Layer with Cooked Pasta
Put 1/3rd of cheese on top of layer of pasta
Layer with rest of pasta
Put last 1/3rd of cheese on top.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over top.
Serve topped with Stewed Tomatoes, Pepper, and salt to taste.
