I am hunting for an "awesome" date scone recipe. This isn't it, but it's very nice.
1. Preheat oven to 220°C.
2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
3. Add dates, sugar, cinnamon to the bowl.
4. Add milk (start with 1 cup and add more if required). Mix to a dough.
5. Knead gently.
6. Sprinkle a bit of flour onto a baking tray.
7. Press mixture onto the baking tray. Make roughly into a rectangle shape.
8. Cut into 12 pieces.
9. Brush tops with milk.
10. Bake for 10 min or until tops are golden brown.
