1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheight.
2) Coarsely chop the chocolate. Set aside half. Place the remaining chocolate in
a medium-size microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes or until
melted. Stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.
3) Stir brown sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla into melted chocolate. Stir in flour and
baking powder. Stir in reserved chopped chocolate. (The batter will resemble

sheets. Bake until puffed and center feels set to touch, about 11 minutes for
large cookies, 7 to 9 for smaller cookies.
