A creamy potato and dumpling soup very popular in the North Dakota and Minnesota region. Perfect for chilly autumn and winter evenings.
Prepare dough: mix flour, baking powder, and salt to a larger mixing bowl and add small amouts of milk as you mix till you have a nice stiff dough. Break off small even sized round pieces for the dumplings.
add water, bullion, broth, spices, celery and onion to a large pot and boil for about 15 minutes.
Reduce to simmer and add cream, potatoes, and knoephla. Simmer covered for 40 minutes.
