1. Preheat oven to 200 C fan forced, and preheat large grill pan or heavy frying pan to ~140-150 C (2nd Click, low heat)
2. Place sausages on pan for approximately 20-25 minutes, turning every 5-10 minutes
3. Meanwhile finely slice onion and garlic and put in a small frying pan with enough oil or butter to cover the bottom of the pan, fry gently on medium heat.
4. Chop potatoes into small cubes and place on a greased oven tray with baking paper. Sprinkle salt and garlic powder, and cover with some oil. Mix the oil around to all the cubes with your hands. Place the tray in the oven for 20 minutes, checking and turning at the 10 minute mark.
5. Mix 250 ml of boiling water with 1 beef stock cube to make Beef Stock. Add 1 tablespoon plain white flour to onion and garlic mixture, and stir in. Add beef stock to onion, garlic and flour. Stir until thickened and any flour clumps have dissolved. Add more flour or water if required to get desired consistency. Retain on medium heat until other dishes are ready.
6. Serve up on plates
