In a cheesecake pan, mix graham cracker crumbs, 3 tblsp sugar (not a part of the 1/2 cup) and butter and press down in the bottom.
Bake 325F for 10 minutes.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla until blended. Add sour cream. Add eggs, one at a time and mix on low until blended. Pour over the crust.
Bake 325F for 45 minutes. Cool completely and chill 4 hours. Just before serving add cherry pie filling to the top.
