Using a 9 x 13 baking pan, unroll one package of crescent rolls, and leave together at the perforations, and line the bottom of the pan.
Mix together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with a mixer until smooth. Spread over the crescent rolls. Unroll the other can of crescent rolls and lay on top of cream cheese mixture.
Drizzle or brush the butter over the top and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
