Suggest a better descriptionPlace water in small bowl, sprinkle with yeast, let stand until foamy (will smell like beer).
In a large bowl, whisk together milk, butter, sugar, salt and 2 eggs. Whisk in yeast.
Using wooden spoon, add flour 1 C at a time until you have a soft, shaggy dough. Turn out onto floured surface, knead until firm & elastic, 5 to 10 minutes. Leave in a warm place to rise, until doubled in size, about an hour.
Butter 2 13x9 pans. Divide dough, shape into 30 balls, place in prepared pans. Let rise again, until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees - brush with diluted egg white. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
This dough also makes great cinnamon rolls - roll dough out flat, spread butter on and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, raisins. (Another delicious combination - cranberry jam and chopped almonds) Roll up the long side, cut using a thin piece of string or fishing line. (cutting with a knife squishes the dough down, looping a piece of string around the roll and pulling each end across cuts without ruining the shape)
Place in prepared pans and bake the same as above.
