White fluffy candy
Source: Melanie Meinzer
In heavy 2 quart sauce pan combine sugar, corn syrup, water and salt. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a boil. Then cook to hard ball stage (250 degrees) without stirring. Wipe crystals from sides of pan now and then. Remove from hea. Pour hot syrup slowly over stiff beaten egg whites, beating constantly at high speed with electric mixer, (5 minutes). Add vanilla. Continue beating til mixture forms soft peaks and begins to lose its gloss. Drop by teaspoons on waxed paper; swirl each candy to a peak.
