1) Brown meat
2) In large pot cook broth, meat, beef bone & onion soup for 30 minutes, stir occasionally IT WILL STICK TO BOTTOM AND BURN IF YOU DON'T
3) Add celery, carrots, cabbage and barley and boil 30 minutes (if using quick,barley add in next step)
4) Add remaining ingrediants and boil for 30 minutes or until cabbage is soft
