Cook onions on low, add butter, garlic, and ginger. Add spices. Stir well.
Add berbere and paprika. Saute for 3 mins.
Pour in tomato sauce. Add water and wine. Bring to boil and simmer 5 mins.
Add chicken to simmering sauce. Coat on all sides.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25 mins.
Pierce hardboiled eggs with fork tine. Add eggs to sauce.
Cover and cook additional 15 mins until chicken is tender.
Serve hot with injera or naan and plain yogurt.
