Suggest a better descriptionBeat butter with 1 cup powdered sugar Gradually beat in flour. Bet in 2 tsp vanilla. Cover and chill dough 30 minutes. Combine almond paste, brown sugar almonds and remaining 1/4 tsp vanilla. Shape dough around =AB ts almond paste mixture, completely enclosing almond paste center and forming 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased baking pans. Bake in preheated 350 F oven 15 minutes. Cool. Roll cookies in remaining 1-1/2 c powdered sugar or sift powdered sugar over cookies.
