An attempt to recreate a recipe from a local Cajun chain restaurant
Start the rice, prepare according to package directions
Start cooking chicken in olive oil, and spice with salt and pepper
Make a roux
Brown the flour, stir every minute
Once the flour in the roux is tanned to milk-chocolate-brown, reduce heat and stir in broth
Add spices and bourbon to gravy and stir
Once chicken is fully cooked and rested for 5 minutes, pull and add to pot
Simmer pot for 10+ minutes
Serve in a bowl with rice on the bottom and chicken-stew on top
