For the best results, the lobster has to be fresh. Slice the lobster in half, lengthwise and crack open the claws. Remove all the meat and cut it into large chunks. Retain and rinse both halves of the shell for serving the prepared dish. Toss the lobster meat into foaming butter over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until cooked white. Take caution that the butter does not burn. Add the whiskey to the skillet, when it is heated through, set it to light. (Flame it!) Pour in the cream and heat through. Season with salt and pepper. Serve in the half shells with plainly boiled fine beans or spring potatoes.
