combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl. Cut in butter until mixture is cornmeal consistency. Add milk and mix lightly until soft dough is formed. Drop by spoonfulls into boiling stew. Cover tightly and cook without removing cover for 12 minutes or until done.
also good with shredded cheese and or herbs mixed in.
recipe also makes quick drop biscuits if baked in a 400 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
