Cut bacon, before you seperate bacon into 3/8" strips, across the grain, Fry bacon in dutch oven; reserve 6 tablespoons fat.
After bacon is crisp. drain and set aside. Saute onion and green pepper, I omit green peppers. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain Beans. Put beans into 12 Dutch Oven. Mix in remaining ingredients stirring well. Add Bacon Cook for one hour at 400 Degrees .
