Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour a 9x5 loaf pan.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and poppyseeds.
In separate bowl, mix yogurt, sugar, eggs, lemon zest, vanilla, and oil. Fold into dry ingredients until just combined.
Add to loaf pan and bake 40 minutes, until toothpick inserted into middle comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes in pan, before transferring to wire rack. Poke holes all over cake using toothpick.
In small saucepan, stir lemon juice and sugar until dissolved. Cook for 5 minutes, until thickened. Brush loaf repeatedly with syrup so that it soaks in.
Whisk icing sugar, lemon juice, and tea leaves. Pour glaze over loaf and let harden for 20 minutes. Slice and serve.
