Spread the cream cheese out on a plate with a butter knife. This is easier to do if you let it sit on the counter for a little bit. Next, spread the drained crab meat on top of the cream cheese. Then top with the cocktail sauce, and finally (and optionally) sprinkle some parsley on top. Serve with crackers; I like to use original Wheat Thins. This appetizer is a real crowd pleaser!
If you have more time, try making your own cocktail sauce. I like to make mine by combining ketchup with prepared horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, a few dashes of Tabasco, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and whatever spices strike my fancy.
Quick and easy, but try making it with your own homemade cocktail sauce!
