Nothing is better than good ol French Toast! Consider this as a healthy alternative
1. In a large, shallow bowl, whisk together egg and
nondairy milk. Stir in a 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
and a pinch of sea salt. Dredge bread in the egg
mixture, turning over several times to coat both
sides.
2. Meanwhile, melt a tablespoon of coconut oil in a
large skillet over medium heat. When the pan is
hot, add the soaked bread slices and cook for 3 to
5 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the
bread is cooked throughout.
3. Enjoy hot with non-hydrogenated margarine and/or
real maple syrup on top.
