Jean's basic biscuit recipe
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine corn oil and milk, and stir with a fork. Pour all at once over entire surface of the flour mixture, and mix with a fork to make a soft dough. Shape lightly with hands to make a ball. Place on waxed paper and knead 10 times or until smooth. Then pat out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits with 2-inch cutter. Arrange biscuits on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
