In a soup pot, sweat olive oil, onions, garlic, and ham on low heat. Add turnip greens, beans, potatoes, chicken broth, and bring to boil on high heat. Once boiling, turn down to medium heat. Add salt, pepper, Creole seasoning and sugar. Simmer for approximately 30 minutes.
This recipe makes a large quantity and can be easily cut in half.
