From Progresso Recipe Starter can - Add flavors to your dinner table with this bacon, mac and cheese featuring pasta and Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ cheese sauce – ready in 30 minutes.
1) Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 2-quart casserole with cooking spray. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.
2) Meanwhile, in 3-quart saucepan, heat cooking sauce, milk and garlic to boiling. Remove from heat; stir in cheeses until melted. Stir in pasta, bacon and bell pepper. Spoon into casserole.
3) Bake uncovered 20 minutes or until edges are bubbly. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Additions and Substitutions: Velveeta white queso flavor instead of American cheese;
can use 2 cups of cheddar if you have no American or Velveeta;
cooked ground beef, chicken or other meat can be added;
add sun dried tomatoes and top with french fried onions. Add a side salad and its a keeper!
