Heat oven to 425 degrees. Mix flour, salt, paprika, and pepper. Coat chicken with flour mixture. Heat butter and shortening in an oblong pan 12x9x2 in 425 degree oven until melted. Place coated chicken skin sides down in pan. Cook uncovered 30 minutes. Turn chicken. Cook uncovered about 30 minutes longer. (add a baked potato and prep time is 15 minutes).
butter flavor shortening makes the flavor stand out, but you don't need to. regular will work also. And you can always substitute margarine for the butter.
