Whip egg whites and Tbsp portion sugar. Remove from bowl.
Whip egg yolks and sugar until ribbony and foamy. Add dairy, and nutmeg. Start with less alcohol and mix to taste, if desired.
Incorporate with egg whites, and fill 1/2 gallon jar. Add remainder to quart jar for topping off half gallon for long term storage.
Usually make around Thanksgiving for Christmas.
