Recipe for the "made at the table" guacamole from the El Torito restaurant chain. Printed in the L.A. Times long ago.
Peel avocados and cut in small chunks. Add onion and tomato and mix gently. Add chile, cilantro, lime juice and season to taste with garlic powder, oregano and salt.
Mix again, leaving avocado in chunks.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
