Delicious with coffeecake or by itself served in tiny well-chilled glasses, dishes, or lime baskets (see below). Can also be frozen in an ice-cream machine.
Whisk all ingredients in a medium bowl. Scrape into a shallow 2 quart baking dish. Cover and freeze at least 3 hours, until cream is firm (it will not get hard) . Serve from a bowl or in Lime Baskets

Lime Baskets
Cut a thin slice off stem end of each lime so stands upright. Slice off top third of fruit; place it, cut side down, on board, and cut a 1/4 inch slice from the center - this will be the handle.
Using a serrated knife or grapefruit spoon, Scoop pulp from shells. Freeze shell and handles at least 3 hours. Fill with lime cream and freeze until serving time. Put handles on basket at last moment, sticking into cream to hold.
