Classic homemade ice cream with special touch of lemon
1. In a large bowl place eggs, salt, and sugar and beat with electric mixer until light and creamy.
2. Add lemon extract, vanilla and whipping cream and mix at low speed
3. Place in freezer, add half and half, then fill to fill line with milk
4. With freezer running alternate layers of ice and rock salt
Can use egg beaters to substitute for eggs. Makes 1 gallon. Eat fresh for soft serve or place in freezer for hard serve.
