In a larger mixer bowl, cream Crisco, softened butter, dark brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Add vanilla and 3 eggs - 1 at a time.
Mix dry ingredients together and add to the batter until moistened. Add chips.
Drop by large spoonfulls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake. Let cool on pan for 5 minutes then transfer to a cookie rack.
