1. Heat olive oil in medium saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened about 3 - 5 minutes.
3. Add garlic, chili powder, cumin and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds.
4. Stir in tomato sauce and water. Bring to a low simmer, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Can be used immediately, frozen or stored in the fridge for 2 - 3 days.
