Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir to blend.
Cut margarine into dry ingredients. (Slice margarine into flour mix and put Kitchenaid mixer on stir, I leave on and add raisins, then egg mix to make dough).
Beat eggs, beat in milk. Saving about a tablespoonful Add egg mixture to rest mixing till flour incorporated.
Place mix onto floured surface and knead 20 times.
Pat out to a circle about 1/2 inch thick. Trim small amount around edge push trimmings together for a 9th scone. Cut circle into. Place on ungreased sheet. brush top only with reserved egg.
bake at 425 degrees F for 11 minutes 30 seconds or until top golden. Remove to baking rack
