>From: firstname.lastname@example.org (Kirk Pearson) >Date: Mon, 15 Nov 93 11:20:03 EST Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and soda. Heat liquids until very warm (120-130 F). Add to dry mixture; beat well. Stir in rest of flour to make a stiff batter. Spoon into 2 (non-metal if going in the microwave) loaf pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal. Cover; let rise in warm place for 45 minutes. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes. Remove from pans immediately and cool. OR: microwave each loaf on High for 6 minutes 30 seconds. Allow to rest 5 minutes before removing from pans. Notes from original poster: The bread wont brown if you bake it in a microwave, so dont be tempted to bake it longer than the specified time. Its still delicious! Posted to Digest bread-bakers.v097.n012 by "BrownleeS"
