Suggest a better descriptionwarm milk and water in small sauce pan until very warm (125 degs). Lightly grease two loaf pans, sprinkle inside with cornmeal to over bottom and sides.
Mix 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt and soda. Stir in milk, mixing well. Stir in remaining flour, one cup at a time, until stiff batter formed.
Spoon into prepared pans. Let rise, covered, until doubled, 40-45 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Bake until golden brow, about 25 minutes. Remove from pans and cool.
