Drain chickpeas, pour into food processor. Add herbs and spices. Pulse until mixed. Add spring onion and garlic, pulse to break down and mix. Add cilantro, flour and baking powder. Pulse until cilantro is well incorporated and chickpeas are well broken down.
Heat oil to 190 degrees celcius. Scoop 2 tablespoon portions of mix. Compress into small patties. Fry in hot oil. This recipe makes 10-11 small falafel patties.
