This is a perfect holiday breakfast casserole!
Spread half of the bread in a greased 9 x 13 pan. Cut cream cheese into pieces and put on top of the bread. Mix eggs, milk, syrup, and almond extract and pour over the bread and cream cheese. Cut up the butter and put on top, sprinkle with cinnamon.
Refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 - 40 minutes. Serve with more syrup on the side.
