The fudge recipe used by mom.
Cook sugar, margarine, and evaporated milk in a sauce pan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a full boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat, add chocolate chips, stir until melted.
Add marshmallow creme and beat, then add vanilla and nuts (optional).
Smooth into greased 9 x 13 pan. Let cool, and cut.
