Boil fettuccine pasta according to package directions until al dente, drain.
In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Add flour and stir constantly for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, stirring with a whisk until all milk is blended with the flour mixture. Cook over medium heat until the sauce thickens, continuing to stir. Add the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix cheese sauce, broccoli and pasta in a serving dish, garnish with additional parsley.
