Suggest a better descriptionCOVER 3 quarts figs with 2 quarts boiling water and allow to stand 5 minutes. Make syrup out of above ingredents (spices should be in a bag made of cheesecloth. Drain figs. Boil in syrup 3 consecutive days 10 minutes each day, then pack into jars to within 1/4 inch of top. Put on cap, screw band firmly tight. Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes.
