A type of baked oily bread from Kosove eaten warm.
1. DOUGH
Mix the ingredients for the dough until the consistency is somewhat
thicker than that of french tortilla dough.
If necessary add a little more flour or water until consistency corresponds.
2. FILLING
For the filling, mix the ingredients and season and salt them according taste.
3. PREPARATION
Preheat the oven at 250°C.
Take a round oven form or round tin grease it.
a) Spread the dough with a teaspoon radially on the oven form. Extend it from the edge to the center , so that it forms a "sun".
b) Spread the filling in an equally radially form into the open areas, so that the whole bottom of the mold is now covered.
c) Put the mold into the oven until the dough is brownish, ca. 5 minutes.
d) Repeat step a, spreading the dough over the layer of filling.
e) Repeat step b, spreading the filling over the layer of dough.
f) repeat c) - e) until all the dough and filling is consumed and the desired size of Fli is reached.
g) Put the rest of filling on top of the Fli and bake again.
Cover the Fli with a kitchen towel and let rest for 15 minutes.
4. SERVING
serve warm
