Suggest a better description1- Stir together flour, salt & baking powder. Add shortening to mixture & blend using pastry cutter until it forms fine crumbles.
2- Gently stir in warm water until it forms a shaggy dough. Turn out onto floured surface & knead until smooth, about 2 minutes. Divide dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each portion into a ball. Cover balls with plastic and let rest for 20 minutes.
3- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. On a floured surface, using a rolling pin, roll each ball into a 9” round. Transfer round to preheated skillet until dough bubbles & develops brown spots on the bottom, about 40 seconds. Flip over and cook until second side develops golden spots.
